Forming definition: Plastic molding refers to the process of making final plastic products from polymers made from a synthetic resin manufacturer.
Processing methods (often referred to as plastic processing) include compression molding (compression moulding), extrusion (extrusion), injection molding (injection moulding), blow molding (hollow forming), calendering, etc.
Blister:After the sheet is heated to a certain temperature by a blister machine, the plastic sheet is adsorbed onto the model surface by vacuum pump, which is transformed into a blister or bubble shell with different shape by cooling and setting.
Compression Molding:Compression molding is also known as compression molding or pressing forming, compression molding is mainly used for phenolic resin, urea-formaldehyde resin, unsaturated polyester resin and other thermosetting plastic molding.
Plastic extrusion: Extrusion is also called extruding molding, is the use of extrusion machine (extruder) will be heated resin continuous through the mold, extrusion of the desired shape of the product method. Extrusion is sometimes molded from thermosetting plastics and can be used in the molding of foams.Extrusion is the advantage of extrusion of various shapes of products, high production efficiency, can be automated, continuous production; The disadvantage is that thermosetting plastics can not be widely used in this method of processing, product size prone to deviation.
Injection molding: Injection molding is also called injection moulding. Injection moulding is the method of injecting a thermoplastic melt under high pressure into the mold by using an injection molding machine (or injection machine) to cool and solidify the product. Injection molding can also be used for the molding of thermosetting plastics and foams. The advantages of injection molding are fast production speed, high efficiency, automatic operation, can form complex shape parts, especially suitable for mass production.
Disadvantage is the high cost of equipment and molds, injection molding machine cleaning is more difficult.
Blow Molding: Blow molding is also known as hollow blow molding or hollow forming. Blow molding is the use of compressed air pressure to close the mold in the heat of the resin-shaped billet blown into hollow products, blow molding, including blown film and blow molded hollow products two ways.
The use of blow molding method can produce film products, a variety of bottles, barrels, pots and children's toys, such as containers.
Calendering: Calendering is the resin and a variety of additives by the expected treatment (kneading, filtration, etc.) through the calender of two or more turn to the opposite of the rolling roller gap processing into a film or sheet, then peeled off from the calender roller, and then by cooling stereotypes of a molding method.
Calendering is mainly used for polyvinyl chloride resin molding method, can manufacture film, sheet, plate, imitation leather, floor tile and other products.
Foaming Molding: Foam materials (PVC,PE and PS, etc.) are added to the appropriate foaming agent, so that the plastic production of microporous structure of the process. Almost all thermoset and thermoplastic plastics can be made into foam. According to the bubble pore structure is divided into open-cell foam (most of the pores interconnected) and closed-cell foam (the vast majority of pores are separated from each other), which is mainly determined by the manufacturing method (divided into chemical foaming, physical foaming and mechanical foaming).
